ASSOCIATION FOR CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME TO VISIT NYSE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, MICHAEL M. SMITH TO RING THE OPENING BELLS

[NEW YORK] – [December 21, 2011] –On Wednesday, December 28, executives and guests from the Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS) in Plainview, New York, will visit the New York Stock Exchange. This year, ACDS is celebrating 45 years of service to Long Island’s disabled community and their families. To mark this special occasion, Michael M. Smith, Executive Director of ACDS, will ring the Opening Bell. Mr. Smith will be joined by current and former board members, including Board President, Tim Michel as well as Tom Ryan, Gene Kirley, Liz Campbell, Ray Cardoza and their families. All have children who are current students or graduates of the preschool program at ACDS.
