When it came time to pick a pre-school for our son Zachary, we were very worried about finding the right place for him. Zach has a series of developmental delays, and at 18 months old he was diagnosed with epilepsy. We came to hear of ACDS through a family friend, and we have never once regretted the decision to send him there.

When he started at ACDS as a two year old, Zach was barely able to walk, was largely uncommunicative, and he could not perform the basic tasks that most one year olds could.

Three years later the changes in Zach have been nothing short of phenomenal. Zach plays in a soccer league now, speaks and communicates beautifully, has an engaging personality, and in general is a happier, more well adjusted child.

Having both spent a lot of time at the school, we can speak with first hand knowledge of the amazing staff and faculty at ACDS.

ACDS Personal Stories

They truly do treat these children as if they were members of their own families. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to all of Zachary’s teachers and therapists, as well as everyone involved with ACDS for the tremendous strides he has made in his three years there. It has simply been a joy to watch him progress and we know he would not be in this position today without ACDS.
