Connection, a New York State licensed DDS approved
Day Care Program provides an enriched Early Childhood
Program for children, ages 6 weeks through 5 years. The
program operates from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate
parent work schedules. Kids Connection offers New York
State certified teachers and a low student to teacher
ratio. An outdoor playground and an indoor gym offer an
array of activities. Curriculum includes enriched academics,
Mommy and Me classes, music and movement, dance and adapted
physical education, sensory activities, sign language,
computer instruction, art education and socialization
skills. The agency offers a health care plan and a registered
on-site nurse that is MAT trained in the administration
of medication.
Infant
Program: Provides infants, ages 6 weeks to
16 months, an enhanced schedule that includes Mommy
and Me classes with caretakers, floor playtime and exploration
of the environment through gross motor activities.
Toddler
Program: Provides socialization, self-help
skills, small group play and snack time to encourage
self-feeding to toddlers, from 16 months to age 2 years
9 months. The learning environment includes circle time
with various cognitive topics. Curriculum includes language
development, computer instruction and music and movement.
During naptime, children are lulled to sleep by classical
music.
Integrated
Classes: Provides nursery school classes
to children with special needs and typically developing
children, ages 3 to 5, in a year-round center-based
classroom setting. Led by two certified teachers, children
receive pre-academic training, instruction in the letter
people and handwriting without tears to prepare them
for elementary school. Curriculum includes music and
movement, computer instruction, gross motor activities
and class trips.
