ACDS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies primarily on funding from government agencies, such as the Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the State Department of Education (SED).  However, only basic needs are reimbursed.  ACDS fundraises for items beyond direct service provision, so that we can provide the facilities, programs, equipment, and personnel to the level of innovation and excellence that our constituents deserve. ACDS depends on vital private support to continue our tradition of excellence and to be responsive to the needs of our community.
