Tiana Jones
President
Tiana Jones has been on the Board of Directors at ACDS since 2018, becoming President in January 2020. Her sons, Cooper and Riley, are both graduates of the ACDS Preschool in Plainview. Tiana is currently the Producing Associate at the Ogunquit Playhouse and she and her husband, Derek, are both long-time professionals in the theatre community. She is also a member of the ACDS Leadership Council and is on the Advisory Board of The Way of the Rain Non-Profit Organization. Tiana is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame.
Thomas DeMaggio
Vice President
Thomas DeMaggio has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2005 and is currently Vice President. Tom is former Managing Director, Global Controller Operations and Technology at Citigroup. As a results-driven financial and operations leader, Tom has demonstrated a proven blend of both strategic and tactical capabilities throughout his 20+ years with industry-leading multinational companies. The scope of his experience includes expertise in driving business performance in rapid growth and turnaround situations as well as facilitating effective operational analysis and implementation techniques for continuous improvements. Prior to Citi, Tom was at American Express for 8 years, most recently as Vice President, Procurement and Real Estate. Tom has an MBA from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business. Tom is a graduate of Dowling College and Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
Barry Giarraputo
Treasurer
Barry Giarraputo has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2009. He has also been honored at ACDS’s Annual Golf Outing and often brings in a team from NB Alternatives to volunteer with the children at ACDS’s Plainview Preschool. Barry is currently a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of NB Alternatives with 39 years of experience in the investment management space. Prior to joining the firm, Barry was the CFO of Antares Capital, a middle market private credit manager. Previous to that, Barry served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Apollo Global Management and its subsidiaries, and previously as a Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns. He began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Barry earned a BBA with honors from Baruch College and is a licensed CPA in New York State.
Tom Ryan
Secretary
Tom Ryan joined the ACDS Board of Directors in 2007 and is President of the ACDS Foundation Board of Directors. He is Dad to son Brendan, an ACDS Preschool graduate. Tom serves as Senior Vice President of GAMCO Asset Management. He is a seasoned investment management executive with over thirty years of experience and is responsible for and has a demonstrated history of working with clients, financial professionals, family offices, RIA’s, and colleagues in institutional investments and private wealth management. Over his three-plus decades in capital markets and investment management, Tom has gained broad industry experience in asset management, security research/analysis, equities, fixed income, mutual funds, alternative investments, portfolio management, investment sales, and relationship building/networking. Tom is also an Executive Board Member of Melville House, a foundation providing mentorship and needs-based college assistance to college students. Tom earned his MBA from Fordham University and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business where he was a student-athlete and president of the College of Business.
Leanne Attanasio, PhD
Leanne M. Attanasio, PhD joined ACDS’s Board of Directors in 2021 and the ACDS Foundation Board in 2024. She is Mom to son Henry, an ACDS Preschool graduate. Leanne is an Electric Rate Design Manager at Con Edison and currently designs strategic electric rates to reflect new electric technologies and distributed energy resources. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University and is a CFA® charterholder.
Michael Farrell
Michael Farrell has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2018. He is Account Manager at LDI Connect/Color Toolbox where he enjoys helping companies leverage their existing technologies, improve workflow and increase productivity with their most valuable and important resource - their employees. Michael also serves as the President of the Long Island Power Network and was honoree at New Ground‘s 2024 Golf Outing. Michael is a graduate of SUNY Westchester Community College.
Dolores Gebhardt
Dolores Gebhardt joined ACDS’s Board of Directors in 2021. She is a partner at Goldschmidt & Genovese, LLP in White Plains. Her practice is concentrated in matrimonial and family law, collaborative divorce, and matrimonial appeals. Dolores is a past president of the Westchester County Bar Association. She is currently a co-chair of the Committee on Civil Practice Law and Rules and an editor of the Westchester Lawyer magazine. Dolores is a sustaining member of the New York State Bar Association. She currently serves on the Committee on Civil Practice Law and Rules. She is the 2016 recipient of the NYSBA’s Kay Crawford Murray Award, given annually to a member who has actively promoted and mentored women in the legal profession. Dolores is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Dolores has published several articles in such publications as Pace Law Review, NYSBA’s Family Law Review, and the New York Law Journal. She is the author of an authoritative outline on counsel fees in matrimonial actions and in Family Court. She has lectured numerous times for NYSBA, WBASNY, WCBA, WWBA, WPBA, NYCLA and the NYS Unified Court System. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, and her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law.
Tyquana Henderson-Rivers
Tyquana Henderson-Rivers joined ACDS’s Board of Directors in 2022. She is Mom to Joelle, a current ACDS Preschool student. Tyquana is Founder, President and CEO of Connective Strategies, a full service political and government relations firm with extensive experience and the contacts to match in New York City and New York State. In her over 25 years in politics and advocacy, she has built an impressive track record of helping firms, organizations, and political candidates build their brands and position themselves for success. Tyquana specializes in city and state lobbying, overall campaign management, constituency engagement, and field operations. Tyquana also serves on the Board of Directors for the Thomas White Jr. Foundation, The New York League of Conservation Voters and the Jamaica Center for the Performing Arts. She is a member of The Greater Queens Chapter of The Links, Inc. Tyquana is also a Minister, Chaplain and certified Christian Counselor and has an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
William Ife
William Ife has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2005. Bill has been practicing law for over two decades and is admitted to the bar in both New York and New Jersey. After working at several NYC and Long Island firms including Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy (BHPP) and Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern, he opened his own practice in 2007 in Garden City, NY - The Law Offices of William B. Ife, PC. His areas of concentration focus on business and succession planning, commercial litigation, life and estate planning, trusts, probate, estate tax. Bill is a graduate of Syracuse University and Seton Hall University School of Law.
Gene Kirley
Gene Kirley joined ACDS’s Board of Directors in 2010 and was Board President 2012 - 2020. He is Dad to ACDS Preschool graduate Bryn. Gene is First Vice President, Wealth Management at The Chariot Group at Morgan Stanley. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, he provides investment advice to individuals, corporations, and endowments based on their needs, risk tolerance, objectives, and goals. Gene was also First Vice President of Wealth Management at Janney Montgomery Scott for 25 years. He is also a Board Member of Rockville Centre Little League. Gene earned a Bachelor of Arts from Manhattan College and studied at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Leonard Krilov
Dr. Leonard Krilov has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2013. He is former Professor of Pediatrics, Chair of Pediatrics and Chief, Pediatric Infectious disease at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine and NYU Langone Hospital Long Island. His research has focused on respiratory viruses especially RSV, viral diagnostic testing and childhood vaccines. Dr. Krilov has served two terms as an elected representative to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Infectious Diseases and has been an editor and question writer for PREP – Self Assessment and PREP ID. He serves on the editorial board of Pediatric Annals as well as Infectious Diseases in Children and as a reviewer for publications including Pediatrics, Journal of Infectious Diseases, Journal of Pediatric Infectious Disease and Journal of Pediatrics.
Jim McHale
Jim McHale has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2006. He is Dad to daughters Annie and Katie who are both in ACDS’s Residential Program. Jim is retired from Chase Bank, Operations and Compliance Officer. He graduated Manhattan College with a degree in Business Administration. Jim was Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus where he raised thousands of dollars for ACDS through yearly fundraisers. He has been active in church and community for many years including coordinating St. Bernard’s Church Special Children Programs.
Tim Michel
Tim Michel has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2006 including past President. He is also Secretary of the ACDS Foundation Board of Directors. Tim is Dad to ACDS Preschool graduate Sean Patrick who participates in ACDS’s 5+ Respite/Recreation Program. Tim joined LifeSci Capital in January 2024 as Managing Director and Co-Head of Trading to help expand the trading operation. He comes with thirty plus years in the equity trading business. Tim started his career at Kidder Peabody then Paine Webber, Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette and Credit Suisse. He is a graduate of Fordham University.
Michael Miller
Michael Miller joined the ACDS Board of Directors in 2011 and is Treasurer of ACDS’s Foundation Board of Directors. Michael is Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary at Sportradar. He brings over 20 years of meaningful legal and business experience with U.S. publicly listed global and domestic companies. Most recently Executive VP, Corporate Development & Affairs and Chief Legal Officer of Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. (NYSE: BNED), Michael led a consolidated legal, government affairs, corporate development, HR and communications function, building on his experience gained at Monster.com, Symbol Technologies and in private practice. Michael graduated with a BA in English from the College of the Holy Cross and holds a JD from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and an MBA from Long Island University.
Peter Morandi
Peter Morandi has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2017. He was also honored at ACDS’s 2017 Golf Outing. Peter is CEO of Eastman Cooke and exemplifies leadership and innovation in the construction industry. With a background steeped in family tradition and a degree in Construction Management and Engineering from Roger Williams University, Peter has built a career marked by excellence and integrity. Under his guidance, Eastman Cooke has partnered with prestigious organizations such as NYU Langone Health and Mercedes-Benz of Brooklyn, earning multiple awards for construction excellence. Peter’s commitment to community service is equally impressive, actively supporting numerous charities.
Ellie Gisler
Ellie Gisler has been a member of ACDS’s Board of Directors since 2022. She is former Senior Artistic Planning Manager at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah, NY. She began her career at The Metropolitan Opera and Columbia Artists and has a wealth of experience in non-profit project management. Ellie is a graduate of University of Connecticut and has volunteer experience with the local Women’s Center as well as on a community advisory board for the police department.
James Vaccaro
James Vaccaro joined ACDS’s Board of Directors in 2013. He is Dad to son Matthew, an ACDS Preschool graduate. Jim currently serves as Director of Security and Quality Control/Director of Quality Control and Tenant Relations at Greater Jamaica Development Corporation where he implements security policies and procedures, as well as handling tenant-landlord contract negotiations. He is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in Quality Control and over 20 years in law enforcement being a retired police officer for the NYPD. He is also Vice President of the New York City Police Precinct Community Council and is an active member of the Oceanside Kiwanis Club.

Marylou Celiberti
Marylou Celiberti joined the ACDS Foundation Board in 2024. She is the District Clerk for the Rockville Centre School District, where she brings her extensive experience in administration and community engagement to the role. Marylou previously served as the Executive Director of the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation (NADF) where she played a pivotal role in providing support and advancing awareness for those affected by adrenal diseases. Her commitment to community service is also reflected in her tenure as a CYO Coordinator and Coach at St. Raymond’s Parish in East Rockaway, NY, where she mentored young athletes and fostered a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship. Marylou holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola University, Maryland, a foundation that has equipped her with the skills to navigate complex organizational challenges and drive impactful initiatives.
Dan Lehan
Dan Lehan has been a member of the ACDS Foundation Board of Directors since 2022. He is a First Vice President and Relationship Manager at Dime Community Bank, a position held since May 2019. With over 30 years of experience in banking, Dan has dedicated his career to helping clients achieve their goals of increased growth and profitability. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to client success have made him a valued asset in the financial sector. Dan also serves as a member of the Event Committee for The Richard J. O'Brien Foundation and has participated in the MSK Cycle for Survival for the past eight years, supporting crucial cancer research and treatments. He is a graduate of St. John’s University.
Craig Lomma
Craig Lomma has been a member of the ACDS Foundation Board of Directors since 2022. He is also a past President of ACDS’s Board of Directors. Craig is father to Luke who received Early Intervention services from ACDS. He is currently Senior Business Advisor to small businesses and not for profits including Bioethics International. For the past 30 years, Craig has worked in the financial services and management consulting arena and helped companies become well run, profitable and sustainable. Craig is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta.
Matt Mullen
Matt Mullen has been a member of the ACDS Foundation Board of Directors since 2022. He is founder and owner of Empire Adventure Park, an indoor trampoline and entertainment venue that opened in 2024 in the Samanea New York mall in Westbury. It is a family entertainment center that is a great experience for the entire family, including age-appropriate attractions for toddler through adult. Before venturing into the entertainment industry, Matthew Mullen was the owner of an Allstate insurance agency, Matthew Mullen Insurance Agency LLC, for 28 years. His transition from insurance to entertainment was fueled by his entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create something unique for the community. Matt is a graduate of Le Moyne College and Loyola University New Orleans.
Chris Valentino
Chris Valentino has been a member of the ACDS Foundation Board of Directors since 2022. He is Principal at Jackson Lewis P.C., specializing in traditional labor; employment litigation; advice and counsel on various issues including disability management, reductions-in-force, discipline and discharge, handbooks reviews. Chris is a graduate of College of the Holy Cross and St. John’s University School of Law.
